Talk about #BlackGirlsMagic!
We live in a world where women are coming for the throne, breaking societal rules and simply ruling this world. The talented 22-year-old gymnast, Simone Biles knows how to leave her mark everywhere she goes.
Biles just claimed her territory this weekend at the world championships in Stuttgart, Germany. The bonafide gymnast made history yet AGAIN when the USA Gymnastics declared that the triple-double (a gymnast move involving three twists and double backflip would be officially entitled “Biles II”. Biles told USA Gymnastics “My goal going into tonight was to not be great,” “It wasn’t to do great, it was to do well, and I feel like I accomplished that.” Her goal was definitely achieved.
This accomplish came shortly after Biles successfully performed a triple-double during her first-floor routine, then landed into a double-double -dismount on a balance beam. According to our sources, The Federation of International Gymnastics needs to grant approval before the Simone “Biles II” move is officially named after her.
