Over the past weekend, triple-threat director, actor, and writer; Tyler Perry celebrated the grand opening of his new studio in Atlanta over this past Saturday.
The “Madea” star hosted a major A-Lister, Hollywood celebration at his newly 330-acre studio. Our sources say, at ‘Tyler Perry’ studios, different acting sets are named after famous African American actors and actresses.
In addition, the studio is super huge, able to hold the Disney and Warner Brothers studio and there is still leftover studio space.
The media mogul honored some of our favorites including Denzel Washington, Spike Lee, Will Smith, Sidney Poitier, Oprah Winfrey, Cicely Tyson and many more. Talk about “Black Excellence!”.
Perry was overzealous with emotions.
He has paved a way for the future to explore and create endlessly. A lot of actors, directors, and writers now have Atlanta to pursue their careers. This is dope on many levels!!
“For people to drop what they’re doing in their very busy schedules to come and join me at this moment is beyond anything I could’ve imagined. It makes me happy. It makes me want to cry. It makes me grateful. It’s just I’m beyond. I’m over the moon right now,” Perry told Variety Magazine.
The party doesn’t stop there; many famous faces enclosed Halle Berry, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Tina and Richard Lawson, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Jada Pinkett Smith, Colin Kapernick and Nessa, Oprah and Stedman Graham. Congratulations to Tyler Perry, we cannot wait to watch the future movies that are birthed from “Tyler Perry Studios!”
