ESSENCE just announced the honorees for its annual Black Women in Hollywood Awards. The award show celebrates “the global influence of Hollywood’s leading female artist-activists both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes.”
The four women who will be honored for the media outlet’s theme, The Power of Our Presence: Art & Activism are:
Actress/Activist & Author Jenifer Lewis (Black-ish)
Actress/Comedian Regina Hall (Support The Girls)
Actress/Activist Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give)
Actress Kiki Layne (If Beale Street Could Talk)

Black Women in Hollywood Awards will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at the Beverly Hills, CA.
